PLAYMOBIL is a world in minature, encouraging children to collect and create their own imaginative playscapes.
The system is based on the individual Playmobil figures, each about 2 3/4 inches tall. These little people can sit, stand,
turn their heads and grasp objects in the PLAYMOBIL world with their
specially designed hands. PLAYMOBIL comes in over 250 different themed sets, each set featuring the PLAYMOBIL "people"
in a variety of occupations and activities--from policemen and firemen to space explorers and airline workers; families at home
and on vacation,and even pirates and soldiers from the Old West!
PLAYMOBIL encourages imaginative play and "role-playing", an important component of childhood development.
